On Tuesday March 26th, 2019, His Royal Highness Prince Saud Bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, will patronize the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the publication of Al-Eqtisad magazine that is published by Asharqia Chamber, in the framework of a wide celebration activity, during which the heads of the board of directors of the chamber and the supporters of the magazine and the presidents who have been managing and editing the magazine for the past five decades.
The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the celebration of the launch of Al-Eqtisad magazine, which was issued by the Chamber 50 years ago, is a celebration of "one of our national achievements that is proud and emphasizes the ability of our country and our children to innovate in all areas, including the media."
He pointed to the distinguished role of the chamber in the field of interest in economic information in particular, and to many of the activities and large activities established by the Chamber and still keen to establish in this area, especially seminars and forums at the national, Gulf and Arab levels.
Al-Khalidi added, "The Chamber has been keen to play its role in creating the best atmosphere for the performance of economic media in a way that serves the national economy and participates in the development of the environment of the business sector and the private sector, and the development of institutions and companies men and women business in the eastern region."
He said, "At the same time, we all bear the responsibility to maintain this achievement and continue as much effort and energy."
Al-Khalidi explained that Al-Eqtisad magazine "economy", with the testimony of many of its followers and the total activity of the economic media specialist, is one of the outstanding magazines in the field of work that has lived during fifty years all the booms of the Saudi national economy, stood in the challenges faced and highlighted the implications of the phenomenon.

Al-Khalidi said, "Al-Eqtisad magazine, which we celebrate today five decades, continues to rise to the top of the pyramid in the world of economics and business publications, despite the storms of challenges and obstacles of stages and the withdrawal of obstacles. It stood and painted its own lines of policies. It has achieved success perseverance and built bridges that accumulate knowledge, information, sources, experiences and relationships with all in a product resonant to the taste of readers and respects the diversity of their walks and trends."
Al-Khalidi added that Al-Eqtisad is in its professional life had a wide range of specialized publications.

On the occasion of the ceremony, Al-Khalidi said, "In this important occasion, we say "Thank you" to those who contributed to the construction of this entity, Asharqia Chamber, and those who worked hard to develop its practical tools, including Al-Eqtisad Magazine, namely, the chairmen of Asharqia Chamber as well as the editors of the magazine.
